Proper use of bus and tram 

Extract from the regulation governing the use of buses and trams

   

   

Smoking is forbidden in public places (including buses and tram)

In buses and trams, your child is safer in your arms : please fold up pushchairs

Animals are not admitted in buses or trains, except for guides dogs and small animals kept in a basket

It is forbidden to enter buses and trams with parcels or objects measuring over one metre on a side

Remember to punch/stamp you ticket each time you embark on a bus or tram, even whren changing vehicles and taking connecting routes

Please vacate your seats for the people who need them most (invalids, senior citizens, pregnant women etc.)

Avoid disturbing other passengers : please be discreet when you use your telephone in buses and trams

For safety reasons, we cannot accept dangerous, inflammable or toxic object or substances on board buses and tram

For your safety and the safety of others, neither bicycles nor persons wearing roller skates or rollerblades are permitted on board

Be considerate towards other passengers : when you listen to music, please use your headphones and reduce the volume



The current regulations are based on laws currently in force, notably the Penal Code, the Code of Penal Procedure, Decree N°42-730 dated 22 March 1942 and customary practise in passenger transportation.
